Walgreen's Shopping Trip

I am so excited!! I just had my very first Extreme Couponing shopping trip!! I just went with a handful of coupons and ran into a woman that knows what she's doing... stuff that I haven't learned yet. She helped me figure out how to buy what I needed and get maximum savings!!

Here's what I bought:

I had a $3 Register Reward (RR) that I had to use today. I got the Gillette razor for $9.89, had a $4 coupon for it and used the $3 RR. (I had to throw the small piece of candy in because you have to have the same number of items that you have coupons/RR's). I paid $4.17 (after tax) for the Gillette razor and piece of candy and got back $5 RR!

I then bought the Nivea, Stove Top, 2 Colgate toothpastes and Twix.I had a $2 coupon for the Nivea, a $.50 coupon for the Stove Top, the Colgate was $4.49- BOGO and I used two $1 coupons on those. I had to throw the Twix in to be able to use my $5 RR. I paid $4.29 (after tax) for all this stuff!

I didn't get out of the store getting everything for free, but I am very happy with the results from today's shopping trip!
